Holidays are intended to be special times. They unite family and rekindle shared memories, bringing joy and delight. But for some, holidays can be hard. One such day is Father’s Day. Instead of joy it can bring up painful memories; the day serving as a glaring reminder of loss or heartache. If you identify with the latter, you don’t have to avoid Father’s Day or begrudge it. As a Christian, you have a Father who has sought you out with a costly love.
