The resurrection of Jesus Christ demands a response. There's no getting around it. Fact is, it has always evoked a response. The Gospels reveal the resurrection of Jesus as a shocking intrusion that no one expected, least of all Jesus' frightened followers. They reacted as any of us would react today, if a recently departed loved one rang the doorbell of our home, greeting us with a smile and a hug: with fear and great joy. Many would doubt such a story. Mockers would emerge. Skeptics would demand proof. But such an encounter would be an epic game changer. 'Martha,' Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life . . . Do you believe this?' So, do you? Join us Easter Sunday for "Resurrection Responses!"
