Rev. Lane Stephenson
The spoken words "no excuse" often cause us to squirm uncomfortably. By nature, we all like a way out, a reason to condone or to excuse bad behavior or an unwise choice. Yet "no excuse" is the verdict that God pronounces upon all of us in regard to our responsibility to obey Him. In fact, "no excuse" is the beginning of a biblical understanding of our heart's necessity for repentance of our sins and faith in Christ. Thankfully, those who have "no excuse" also have the pronouncement of "no condemnation" upon repentance of sin.
Don't have an excuse this Lord's Day for failing to be in worship and to hear from Romans 1:18-23 why we are all "without excuse" before God!
