If you are interested in meeting interesting new people and learning
more about Westminster Church, the Newcomers' Class is the perfect
place to start. The class meets for seven weeks during Sunday School
on a rotating basis. You can begin with any week's lesson and stay
until you have completed them all. Taught by Pastor Chuck, the class
gives you an overview of:
- What does it mean to be a Christian?
- What is Westminster seeking to accomplish?
- What makes Westminster unique from other churches?
- How do new people fit in?
There is no obligation and no pressure. We simply want the opportunity
of getting to know you, and for you to know more about us. You can
begin any week. Grab a cup of coffee from the lobby area and come
to room 204 at 9:45 a.m. on the main Sunday School hall.
Community Groups are a primary means of fellowship, personal relationships
and discipleship at Westminster. Members study, sing, pray, laugh,
eat, and play together, developing relationships and accountability
partnerships that build both the individual and the body of Christ.
Groups meet in neighborhoods all over Gainesville in church members’
homes on Sunday evenings.
