Alejandro Oropeza
Director of Hispanic Ministries
Alejandro Oropeza joined the staff at Westminster in the fall of 1999 as the Director of Hispanic ministries. He is a civil engineer from Mexico City with theological training from Rio Grande Bible Institute, Logoi, and Reformed Theological Seminary. His passions include children's ministry, evangelism and missions. There are weekly Bible studies, small groups, and worship services every Sunday morning. Currently our Hispanic ministry is joining the English-speaking church for a combined worship service on one Sunday each month. In the past years, the Hispanic ministry has held ESL (English as a Second Language) classes, Spanish for Gringos classes, Friday evening kids' clubs, and day camps for Hispanic kids in the summers. Alejandro's wife, Beth, and children, Ana and Josh, are also involved in the Hispanic ministry.

Lisa Hulsey
Director of Ministry Involvement & Women
Lisa Hulsey was born in Athens, GA., and grew up in nearby Winder. She graduated with degrees from Belhaven College and the University of Georgia. Lisa served as the Director of Ministry Involvement (Assimilation) at Wildwood Church PCA. In the years prior, Lisa served as Director of Children’s Ministries also at Wildwood PCA and at Crossroads Community Church in Lawrenceville, GA.
Lisa is the proud mother of an adult daughter, Kristen. Kristen and her husband, Jeremy, reside in Lawrenceville. When not at Westminster, you might find Lisa enjoying the beauty of the North Georgia mountains or cheering on the Dawgs at a UGA football game with family and friends. Lisa is known to have a wacky sense of humor and loves to encourage others in their Christian walk. With one of her major studies being Telecommunication Arts, Lisa’s creative side lends itself to her being a connoisseur of old movies and television shows. Also, she’s just coauthored her first book of short devotionals entitled, "Bringing Joy to Heaven!"

Matt Harris
Director of Student Ministry
Matt joined the staff at Westminster in October 2010 to lead the student ministry. A native of the metro-Atlanta area, Matt grew up in a solid Christian home and in a PCA church. While attending Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State, he began working with the student ministry as an intern and later interim director at Midway PCA in Powder Springs. After marrying his high school sweetheart, a brief stint as interim student ministry director at Parkview PCA in Lilburn, and graduation, Matt went to work for Faith PCA in Goodlettsville, Tennessee and then to Gulf Shores, Alabama at Grace Fellowship PCA before coming to Gainesville and Westminster.
Matt is also a part of Mission to the World's (MTW) Global Youth & Family Ministry (GYFM) Associate Team, ministering to our middle and high school age students serving on the mission field around the world with their families. Matt loves students and loves missions, and loves being able to combine them in this ministry.
Matt is married to the love of his life, Linda, and has three beautiful girls: Evelyn, Annabelle, & Elena. Matt also has a penchant for Apple computers, bass guitar, good music, good books, and all things Georgia Tech sports.

Ginny Early
Assistant Director of Student Ministries
Ginny Early serves as Assistant Director of Student Ministries. She moved to Gainesville after spending four years in Chattanooga working in Human Resources Management. She graduated from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, where she studied Youth Ministry and Sociology. Ginny spent her college summers working at Kanakuk Kamps, which further developed her passion for ministry to kids. Ginny is married to Nate and has two daughters, Ella and Scarlett.

Mary Beth Peake
Director of Children's Ministry
Mary Beth Peake is the Director of Children's Ministries. She grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA in Austell and Kennesaw. She graduated with degrees from the University of Georgia. Mary Beth loves working with children, being creative and using her abundant energy. Mary Beth and her husband, David, were married in 2009.

Ruth Ann Knight
Nursery Coordinator
Ruth Ann Knight serves as the Nursery Coordinator at Westminster Church. She graduated from Covenant College with a degree in Natural Science/Mathematics and taught at the high school level for ten years before entering the world of babies and toddlers. With three children of her own, Ruth Ann is very thankful for the church nursery and those who have ministered to her family in the past. It is her desire that the nursery be a safe and enjoyable experience for children so that their parents can enjoy fellowship and growth as part of the body of Christ. Ruth Ann is married to Jeff and they are parents to Winston, Victoria and William.
